Supportive Therapies
Targeted Tools That Enhance Treatment Outcomes
We use a range of adjunct therapies when clinically appropriate—each selected to support your treatment goals and improve outcomes. These are not automatically applied; they’re used strategically, based on your presentation and how your body responds.
These may include:
Cupping Therapy – To release muscular tension, improve circulation, and support recovery from overuse or strain
Gua Sha / IASTM – A scraping technique (manual or tool-assisted) that helps relieve muscle tension, reduce local inflammation, or support sinus and lymphatic drainage
Electroacupuncture (E-stim) – Often used for orthopedic conditions to stimulate points and reduce inflammation
Moxibustion – A warming technique that can support circulation, digestion, or cycle regulation
Heat Therapy + Infrared – Used to relax muscles, improve tissue pliability, and enhance comfort during treatment
These tools are used intentionally—as part of a personalized care plan that evolves with your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
A: A referral is not needed to receive care—you can book acupuncture, physical therapy, or massage directly. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for coverage. We’re happy to help you check your benefits if you’re unsure.
Q: What if I want to start treatment before my insurance is verified?
A: You’re welcome to begin treatment before verification is complete—we simply ask that you pay upfront. If your plan ends up covering care, we’ll apply your payment toward any copays, coinsurance, or future visits, or reimburse you so you’re not double-paying.

A: In most cases, yes. If time allows, we’ll begin treatment during your initial session after your consultation and evaluation.
Q: How do I know which service I need?
A: Book a free consultation with one of our licensed practitioners. We’ll assess your symptoms and recommend the most effective care plan.
