Dr. Jimmy Ban, DPT

Dr. Ban is a movement specialist and the founder of Hands On Physical Therapy. He is an expert in manual therapy with over 10 years of clinical experience. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Southwestern University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Dominican College in New York. 

Dr. Ban has extensive clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, sports medicine, & pediatrics. His primary areas of expertise are manual therapy and holistic medicine. He values Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and contemporary clinical approaches when assessing and managing his patients' conditions. 

Dr. Ban loves helping his patients get better by establishing specific, targeted exercise & training routines that help them not only heal but also prevent re-injury and improve their day-to-day lives.


Dr. Richard Velasco, DPT

Richard John Velasco is a licensed physical therapist with extensive clinical experience in hospital, outpatient, rehabilitation, and home-care settings in the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. He has treated patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, focusing on functional recovery, pain management, mobility, and independence.

His expertise includes physical therapy assessment, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait and mobility training, balance and coordination, functional rehabilitation, patient education, and individualized home exercise programs. He also has experience in kinesio-taping, musculoskeletal screening, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and rehabilitation planning.

Richard develops individualized treatment programs based on clinical findings, functional limitations, and patient goals. He collaborates closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans. His home-care experience has further strengthened his ability to tailor rehabilitation to patients’ environments and daily functional needs.

With a background in physical therapy education and clinical training, Richard also brings strong communication and mentoring skills. He is committed to evidence-based, ethical, and patient-centered care, helping patients restore movement, improve strength and function, reduce pain, prevent injury, and achieve greater independence and quality of life.
